Helping around the house

I have always encouraged my Son to help around the house, with simple things like putting things back after you have used them, he makes his bed everyday before school and keeps his room tidy..well tidyish lol.

On Sunday he was playing his Skylanders game on the TV....while i was getting bits and bobs done around the house...then all of a sudden i could hear the hoover going..it was my son doing the hoovering he had paused his game to help me..this was such a lovely magicmoment as he did it off his own back and its not something i would ask him to do..aaaahhh bless and big hugs him for being so thoughtful xx

  1. How lucky of you to have a helpful son! I'm trying to teach my 3-year-old to clear-up her mess after playing. She refuses, until I start doing it, only then will she help. Oh well.... Dropping by from #Magic Moments. All the best, D.

  2. So very thoughtful of him - you seem to have trained him very well, there are many men (including mine!) who wouldn't think of doing something like that without being asked. Mine love doing vacuuming and probably would give it a go without being asked - but certainly not in the middle of a game.

  4. What a lovely gesture from your little boy! Mine is just 2, but he already insists on helping me with all my chores. Darlings, aren't they?

  9. Love it, that is such a great #magicmoment. My son surprsied me this morning by doing the washing up unprompted after I had moaned about too much work. Best present I reckon.
